Recipe for
Quiche-Rochefort

It's that time again when I feel compelled to write up another food
recipe for one of my favorite cheese-related dishes, and so, I
thought of dishing up one for a French recipe called
Quiche-Rochefort. Here's how it goes:
1 9-inch pie crust,
unbaked
1/4 cup rochefort cheese
5 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup of milk
1 cup cream
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Line a 9-inch pie plate with pie crust and bake for 5 minutes at 450
Fahrenheit. Sprinkle the bottom of shell with crumbled cheese.
Combine the eggs, milk, cream, sour cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg
and strain over cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes at 450 Fahrenheit. Reduce heat to 350 Fahrenheit
and continue baking for ten minutes or until custard is set. Serve
hot.
Use for hors-d'oeuvre, or with cocktail.
So here's another recipe that one can certainly try out, for some
really delicious cheese that I just simply love eating, and I certainly hope will be greatly
enjoyed by one and all.
Have a great summer, everybody.
