recipe

It's time to publish another food recipe, this one for French cream
puffs. No, this is not something involving sugarcoated news reports
by the MSM, this is something about simple, good old fashioned
pastry. So, here are the instructions coming right up.
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of butter, cut
into small pieces
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of granulated
sugar
1 cup of sifted flour
5 eggs
Combine water, butter, salt and sugar in a heavy saucepan. Bring to
boil. Remove pan from fire and add flour at once. Stir the mix
briskly with a spoon until the dough is smooth enough. Then, put it
back on the fire and cook, stirring constantly, until dough leaves
the sides of the pan and forms a ball. Remove pan from fire and add
the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one has been added. Spoon
dough onto a greased baking sheet, and bake at 375F. for 45 minutes,
or until cream puffs are dry and golden. Cool them off. Split puffs
horizontally and fill with ice cream, whipped cream, or creme
patissiere.
And if you want to add some wine, it can be chilled champagne,
Bourdeaux Sauternes, or sweet Semillon.
And then, you'll have some great cream puffs to enjoy munching! Till
next time.
